P.E with Joe Wicks
You may have already heard of Joe Wicks or ‘The Body Coach’ for his healthy recipes and workouts for adults. But while kids are at home and unable to attend school, Joe is doing morning P.E sessions to give families a healthy and happy start each morning. Thousands of parents and kids have been tuning in all over the world, with audiences in, Brazil, Belfast, Canada and Jamaica!
The classes are everyday at 9am (bright and early), with each session lasting 30 minutes. The exercises vary each day, however each start with a 5 minutes warm up and two ten minute bursts of activity, with a two minute break.
If you miss a day or don’t feel like getting up at 9am, no worries, all workouts can be found on his YouTube Channel.
Elevenses with David Walliams
Another daily activity for the diary is ‘Elevenses’ with David Walliams. Each day at 11am, you and the kids can sit down and listen to one of David Walliams’ kids stories, read by the man himself. The stories are around 20 minutes long and a great excuse to sit down and put your feet up, while your kids imagination runs wild.
Stories include, Kung Fu Kylie and Dribbling Drew, and are suitably funny for both parent and child.

DIY Space Crayons
Looking for something a little more hands on? No problem. We found an amazing tutorial about creating your very own Space Crayons! After all, here at Get More Vits we love anything colourful and if it sparkles, that’s an added bonus!
These fun, recycled colouring shapes can be created with the ends of Crayons that your kids no longer use. All you will need is old crayons, super fine glitter and a silicone mould in whatever shape you fancy!

Our Healthy Blueberry Muffins
As you know, we love all things food and nutrition here at Get More Vitamins. That’s why we’ve created this wonderful family friendly recipe, that is sure to keep your little ones busy- from creating to eating!
These muffins are great for kids, we love blueberries because these tiny little gems are packed full of vitamins C and A to help protect the immune system, and for mum and dad their deep purple colour provide flavonoids that are known to have anti-aging effects! Rather than added sugar, these tasty treats are sweetened with ripe bananas and a little added honey, plus because we’ve used oats they’re packed with fibre for healthy digestion.
Though, if you’re little one’s aren’t a fan of Blueberries, they can easily be swapped out for another fruit of choice.
- Preheat the oven to 390f / 180c. Line a muffin tray with muffin cases and spray them with a little spray oil.
- Put all the ingredients except the blueberries into a blender or food processor and blitz until all combined. Stir in half the blueberries.
- Pour the mixture into the muffin cases, filling 3/4 full. Top with the remaining blueberries.
- Bake in the oven for between 15 – 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Remove from the muffin tins and allow to cool on a wire rack.
